These Mindfulness Books Can Change Your Life in 2020

Are you looking for a mindfulness book that will help you deal with daily stress and lead you to a peaceful lifestyle? If yes, then you’re in the right place. Mindfulness and meditation these days are everywhere.

Earlier mindfulness was unpopular, hardly anyone noticed it. Now almost everyone is eager to know how mindfulness can change their bad lifestyle.

I see the change in society in a positive light; at least some of us are now aware that mindfulness can help us find peace in life. However, before listing the books, I would like to explain to you what is mindfulness exactly.

What is Mindfulness?

In simple terms, mindfulness means living in the present moment.

What does that mean?

It means, in mindfulness, you are supposed to purposefully focus your attention at the present moment without prior judgment of the mind.

Mindfulness can be an exceptional tool to see the world differently. In a world where racial discrimination and all other cultural bias and religious dogmas separating us, this process of seeing the surroundings as it is will help you find peace in life.

Life is a dance. Mindfulness is witnessing that dance.

If you’re seeking a book to find meaning in life, then I have no other book than to recommend you the above one.

Siddhartha may not be your mindfulness guide, but the story and the life quest of a common man will surely shake you from inside.

In our life, we require a purpose; once we find it, we start our journey. This book is the journey of a seeker, just like you and me.

It is a spiritually enriched book, to guide you – to show you – to move you – to the right path and finally to help you reach your life’s ultimate goal.

“Wisdom cannot be imparted. Wisdom that a wise man attempts to impart always sounds like foolishness to someone else … Knowledge can be communicated, but not wisdom. One can find it, live it, do wonders through it, but one cannot communicate and teach it.”

Promise me that you will be honest while answering these questions.

  • Are you the person who always hurries when he works?
  • Are you the person who always eats fast?

If your answer is yes, then this book is for you. Mindfulness isn’t merely about reading materials on the web; it is about implementing it in your life. It is about implementing in your everyday work.

In this book, zen Master Thich Nhat Hanh guides you to achieve the same. Mediation can be practice throughout the day – it isn’t merely a one-hour session practice – it can be practiced in the activities as well. With the guidance of this book, you will learn these techniques.

“Don’t chew your worries, your fear, or your anger. If you chew your planning and your anxiety, it’s difficult to feel grateful for each piece of food. Just chew your food.”

  1. Beautiful books, wonderful authors, exploring the depths of letting go and being in the present, outside of the egos need to dictate our day.

I cannot say how much Hesse work Siddhartha changed my life. It brought direction to a young, directionless man. The works of Tolle and Cabot Zinn also changed my life. It is a practice, but one well worth undertaking.
